HOW TO ANSWER THE INTERVIEW QUESTION: "TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF"​

Have you ever been asked the interview question: "Tell me about yourself?"

Make sure to keep this text in mind:

This question gives you a great chance to convince the hiring manager why they should choose you. It's essential to prepare well for your interviews if you want to secure a job. It would be best to improve your chances of getting hired, and some tips can make a difference.

In this newsletter, I offer my general advice on tackling this question to increase your chances of getting hired.

You might want to mention the value you can bring to the company, the problems you can solve, and the benefits of hiring you.

Your response should touch on the following points:

• Share your success and what you are most proud of in your career.

• Communicate what you have been doing.

• Talk about your Strength

• Tell them what you want in your next position —tie this to the role you're applying for.

Here's an example:

" I have been working at COMPANY for the past five years. During this time, I have managed and developed more than 15 innovative analytics solutions to support PRODUCT's launch in several countries.

I have been at COMPANY B for two years, leading a large-scale multi-million dollar implementation. Before COMPANY B, I was at COMPANY A for three years. I hold an MBA from SCHOOL and have several certifications, including a Scrum Master professional from the Scrum Alliance.

My biggest strength is leading initiatives and continuous improvement.

I look forward to taking my career to the next level with COMPANY C (the company you are interviewing for). With my technical work experience and education, I can add even more value by leading large-scale implementations.
