I went from 0 to 150,000 followers on Linkedin.

I began with no followers, and my first post got no likes. In 2009, I moved from the Dominican Republic without speaking English. In 2011, people made fun of my accent and broken English, and some acted like they couldn't understand me. 2012 I faced many rejections in but didn't give up.

In 2013, I passed my first job interview in English in the USA, and in 2014, I got a job at Harvard University.

In 2017, after many interviews, Amazon hired me. In 2018, I became an Amazon Scrum Trainer, teaching in English. In 2020, I began sharing my ideas on LinkedIn to inspire job seekers. Even though I faced many challenges, I kept posting regularly. In 2021, I started doing live sessions on LinkedIn in English. In 2022, I struggled to find new ideas but eventually shared my rejection journey, which got over 10 million views.

In 2024, over 150K people organically supported my content on LinkedIn, and Favikon awarded me the LinkedIn Top Voice and Number Creator in the United States.

I am very excited about this recognition from LinkedIn, which motivates me to keep sharing my message of inspiration with my community.

LinkedIn helped me connect with Harvard University and Amazon. LinkedIn is giving me a voice to inspire others.
